Travelling to St Vincent could not be easier! Students enrolling with us in September will be the first to enjoy our fantastic new college bus service. We will be providing a bespoke bus service enabling students from across the Gosport and Fareham region to access a direct travel link both to and from the college every day of the week.
Students will travel on state-of-the-art modern buses equipped with WiFi and radio services which will bring you directly to college each day.

Applications to purchase a bus pass will be sent out in April/May to all college applicants along with information about costs. The cost of the bus pass can be covered by the college for students eligible for a College Bursary Fund (details will be sent along with the bus applications)*.

We will be operating two bus routes:

Route 1 will cover the following areas:

Highlands Road, Gudge Heath Lane, West Street, Hartlands Road, Gosport Road (A32), Fareham Road (A32), Cunningham Drive, Gregson Avenue, Wych Lane, Rowner Lane, Rowner Road, Fareham Road, Elson Road, Grove Road, The Crossways, Forton Road, St Vincent College.

Route 2 will cover the following areas:

Brookfield School, Warsash Road, Southampton Road, Southampton Hill, South Street, Titchfield Road, Stubbington Village, Bells Lane, Crofton Lane, Moody Road, Stubbington Lane, Marine Parade, Manor Way, Fell Drive, Russell Road, Bridge Road, Portsmouth Road, Privett Road, Browndown Road, Gomer Lane, Western Way, Jellicoe Avenue, Privett Road, Bury Road, South Street, Mumby Road, Forton Road, St Vincent College.

The bus service will provide students with a safe and efficient way of travelling to and from college. We are planning to run a morning and end of day service every day of the week with an additional lunchtime service operating on Wednesday’s. Further information will be sent to all applicants and current students soon.

TRAVEL BY FERRY

St Vincent is also handily placed for the Gosport Ferry, so to encourage students from Portsmouth to consider St Vincent as their accessible sixth form college option. Students living in Portsmouth post code areas might be eligible for discounted ferry travel as well as being entitled to a discounted week-day bus pass for the whole year.

CAR, MOTORCYCLE AND BIKES

St Vincent has extensive car and motorcycle parking facilities and secure cycle storage facilities onsite which are accessible to all students every day.
