Cookery – Quick Healthy Meals
What is the course about?
The course will appeal to creative busy people who have little or no experience in cooking and who will relish the opportunity to try new techniques and further their skills in a friendly relaxed environment.
A variety of tools and materials will be used to complete the dishes and all these will be provided.
Learning will be tutor led with demonstrations and practice activities. There will be a mixture of both individual and class discussion. Your tutor will work with you and your work will be reviewed during the teaching time.
Will there be additional costs?
Yes – possibly for additional equipment or apron, and an ingredients list will be provided weekly.
If you need to wear glasses for close up work, it is advisable that you bring them to the class.
Do I need specific equipment or clothes?
A pen/pencil, apron and a box to take your food home in.

By the end of the course, students should be able to make incredible quick and tasty meals.
How will my progress be recorded?
Your tutor will work with you to assist in the completion of a Learner Progress Sheet. It will be used to record your progress and it will be reviewed and updated within the duration of the course.
