Who is this course for?

This course is suitable for anyone with an interest in art and print making and will enable learners to experiment with different mark making and printing techniques.

Lino cutting is a relief printing technique whereby ink is applied to a cut or carved surface and transferred onto paper. Prints can be simple one colour designs or many colours depending on the techniques used.

What will I achieve?

You will learn how to transfer your ideas from sketches and produce onto lino cut prints. You will also be able to build your artistic knowledge and gain print making skills.

How will my progress be recorded?

Your tutor will work with you to complete a Learner Progress Form, this form will record your progress throughout the duration of the course.

Additional information:

Please bring a sketchbook, pencil and any inspirational material with you.
