This course is aimed at anyone who would like a better understanding of their own iPad/tablet.

What will I achieve?

On this course you will learn how to use the basic controls, how to organise your Ipad/tablet using essential apps such as Internet, Email and the App Store.

You will also learn how to adjust the security settings to protect your Ipad/tablet when on the internet and what to look for when downloading.

How will my progress be recorded?

Your tutor will work with you to complete a Learner Progress Form, this form will record your progress throughout the duration of the course.

Additional information:

Please bring your own fully charged iPad/tablet with you each week of the course along with any password/email information, a pen, pencil and notepad.
PLEASE NOTE: Windows tablet will require Computer for Beginners Class. Kindles’ not suitable for this course.

Parking information

There is parking situated within Siskin School, through the school gates and to the left. The school gates may be closed during school start and finish, but not locked and can still be accessed. Parking is also available on the road outside the Centre – please do not park on the yellow zigzag lines.
