    We are seeking a motivated, highly organised and focused individual with exceptional attention to detail to join our team during our busiest and most exciting time of year, enrolment. You will be greeting new students, taking their photographs, inputting their information into our systems and providing essential administrative support.

    Applicant Must:
    • Have English & Maths GCSE Grade 4/C or above
    • Have experience maintaining/inputting data to a high standard
    • Have experience in customer service
    • Have an exceptional attitude towards work
    • Have good time-keeping
    • Be available on all weekdays/times during advertised dates
    • Be IT Literate and confident using various systems (full training will be provided)

    Desirable Skills:

Specialist Academic & Study Support (SASS) Coordinator

    This is an exciting opportunity for to make a significant contribution to the College’s provision for learners with specialist academic and study support needs accessing our Sixth Form Provision at Levels 1-3.

    We are seeking to appoint an experienced and highly motivated individual to:
    • Coordinate and line manage our team of Higher Level Teaching Assistants and Learning Support Assistants in order to best meet student’s individual needs.
    • Lead initial assessment processes for all Sixth Form Studies students
    • Lead assessment of special educational need and exam access arrangements
    • Lead annual reviews for all Sixth Form Studies students with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs)
    • Liaise with curriculum and support staff to ensure they are advised on appropriate strategies to support individual student learning and support needs

    Candidates must hold a relevant qualification in assessing SpLD and/or exam access arrangements. Prior experience working with young people with moderate and complex learning difficulties and disabilities is essential. Prior managerial experience is desirable.

Adult Education Tutors

We are continuing to recruit Adult Education Tutors to deliver a range of community learning classes

In particular we are interested in recruiting tutors offering arts and crafts subjects, sewing, printmaking, baking/cooking, health and well-being activities or languages (other than French and Spanish)

    Classes run term-time throughout the week, daytime and evenings from our main college site on Mill Lane

    Classes vary in length from day workshops, day or evening classes 2-3 hours per week, and usually run from 4 weeks to 30 weeks

    Hourly rate: £22.95 per hour

    Applicants should have a minimum of Level 3 Award in Education and Training (or be prepared to gain this qualification with us) and ideally should also have experience of delivering classes to adult learners.

    The College is seeking an experienced tradesman (preferably with proficiency in carpentry/painting and decorating or skills within a building trade) to join our dedicated Estates Team. The post holder will have a range of duties to support the effective management and development of our historic waterside campus.

    As a member of this team you will play an active part in the delivery of a responsive and successful customer service provision in accordance with the College Mission, Visions and Values.

    Experience of working in a similar role and an ability to effective liaise with a variety of stakeholders, including students, parents, visitors and commercial customers is essential.

    More Details

    We are looking to recruit a dynamic individual to work closely with students to support their learning and independent study. This role will work in our Student Study Hub, a focused resource within our Learning Centre in which students undertake study and research when not attending classes.

    The role will see you work both in small groups and one-to-one with students to support their learning and development. This includes targeting students who require assistance with their college work and running themed workshops. You will also develop resources to support wider issues and campaigns.

    The successful candidate will need to have high grade qualifications at degree or A-Level or equivalent and be able demonstrate an ability to guide learning whilst forming positive working relationships with students. This role is ideal for someone who has recently graduated from university or college who is seeking to develop experience working with young people within an education setting.
