As a college, we deliver excellent teaching and learning to achieve the best outcomes possible for our learners. Next year there are plans to deliver a triple BTEC music as provision for increasing numbers.

There are dedicated, well-resourced teaching and rehearsal spaces within in the department and a recently developed performance space. Music enrichment is very well attended on a daily basis. Many of the students in the learning area combine music with other visual and performing arts courses as part of their study programme.
We are looking for a teacher to deliver weekly drumming sessions that are committed to supporting both groups and diverse individual needs, to strive for musical excellence. Music performance students will require support with their solo and ensemble assessment pieces. We would also encourage tutors to run instrumental workshops based on developing fundamental techniques. We are keen that the chosen candidates are willing to get involved in the many outside performances, music festivals and student gigs that are regularly staged by the music department.
