Minibus Driver

27 – 30 hours per week, term time only (37 weeks per annum)
Support Staff Spine Point 18 (£17,670 FTE)

The College is seeking an experienced driver to collect students with high needs from their homes and take to college along a pre-determined route in accordance with agreed timescales.

The post holder will report to the Director of Estates and Facilities.As a member of this team you will play an active part in the delivery of a responsive and successful customer service provision in accordance with the College Mission, Visions and Values.

The candidate is to have a full D1 with no restrictions or would be prepared to obtain a full D1 driving license subject to completion of training. An understanding of working with high-needs students, first aid training and a good understanding of the Highway Code are all essential.

Please note that the successful candidate may be subject to a clawback agreement should the College fund any training required to achieve a D1 license. Further details regarding this may be discussed at interview stage.

Bid Writer

We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiast and energetic candidate to join the Lighthouse Learning Trust as a bid writer. We are looking for a bid writer/ fund raiser to seek out and secure funds from donors including charitable organisations, government sources, corporate donors/ sponsorship. The successful candidate will be an enthusiastic and natural networker, passionate about education, who can write compelling bids and cases for financial support for our charitable trust and have the ability to create and communicate vision. The ability to effectively use management information, IT systems and software is essential.

Reporting to the Trust Finance Director, the job will primarily be based at Richard Taunton Sixth Form College in Southampton but must be flexible with regard to travel.

The Trust exists to deliver high quality education and training which creates ambition for all and promotes social mobility in its members’ communities.

All successful candidates will be required to complete an enhanced DBS disclosure.
