Executive Principal Andy Grant said students had earned their success through hard work. “I’m so pleased for all of our students who have worked so hard and seen that pay off,” he said.
“Our goal at St Vincent is to provide young people who want to succeed with the opportunity to learn and to grow surroundings that are inclusive and nurturing. We are dedicated to ensuring that they do the very best that they can.
“It’s wonderful to see our students moving on to university offers, further education and apprenticeships and we look forward to hearing about their progress.”
He was delighted students have achieved a 98% pass rate for Applied General qualifications – an increase of 6% over last year, with 57% of all A Level students achieving A* to C grades across their subjects.

EXCELLENT CREATIVE ARTS RESULTS
The college has continued to see excellent results in creative arts subjects with 100% of students passing – and 95% achieving A* to C grades. Contextual Studies, Photography and Fine Art all had 100% of students passing at A* to C.
Some 98% of the college’s 91 BTEC students passed, up from 92% last year. Of those, 35% achieved a Distinction* or a Distinction. Applied Law, Applied Science, Business, Esports, Health and Social Care and Music all had a 100% pass rate.
In Health and Social Care 64% of students achieved a Distinction* or a Distinction, while in Esports, 24% achieved the same. CTEC students had a 100% pass rate. These results will lead to the vast majority of students being offered their first choice university course.
Andy said the college is on hand to help any student who didn’t get the grades they were expecting. “We are very keen to support any student needing help with the University Clearing process and they must not hesitate to get in touch with us over the coming days and weeks if they need to,” he said.
