What is the course about?

You will learn everything you need to know to fulfil your musical potential. Learn at your own pace and in a style that suits you.

What equipment do I need?

The student will require a:
• 6-string guitar;
• guitar tuner;
• pen and paper for taking extra notes*.

How will I learn?

Taught in easy stages; reading of simple notation, right and left hand techniques, basic chords and melodies etc, enabling the student to entertain themselves or to prepare them for perhaps joining a group.

Will there be homework?

Homework is not mandatory but set by the tutor for students to gauge their progress.

Course Outline

The outcome of the course will be a further understanding of music, use of left and right hand fingering, picking and strumming techniques.

How will my progress be recorded?
