At St Vincent College, we offer a range of online courses for adult learners. We have online courses to enhance both your career or your hobbies.

Many of our online courses are free to adults aged 19 or over living in UK and an EU resident for the last 3 years, some courses do have further eligibility criteria.

Introduction to Creative Writing

Introduction to Child Psychology

Child Psychology is one of the most frequently studied speciality areas as it focuses on the mind and behaviour of children from prenatal through to adolescence. Child Psychology not only looks at how children grow physically, but with their mental, emotional and social development as well.

In recent years, the UK has seen an increase of mental health illnesses diagnosed in pre-school children, and school settings have seen a rise in attachment disorders amongst their pupils.

This online course is for anyone who wishes to take their first steps into child psychology. No previous knowledge is necessary, just a willingness to learn and participate in a distance learning setting.

This online course is for anyone who wishes to make themselves more employable or take their first steps to securing a new role.

Introduction to Raising Resilience

Having the ability to respond well to adversity and adapt to change is what we think of as resilience. Developing resilience skills especially in the current climate has many benefits for our mental wellbeing. Being resilient isn’t about pushing through, or carrying on regardless of how you feel; it’s about building greater self-awareness and coping strategies for the long term.

Through a supportive, uplifting approach students will learn a range of emotional intelligence tools and techniques for building resilience.

This introductory course is suitable for anyone who is interested in strengthening their resilience. No previous knowledge is necessary, just a willingness to learn!
