Course Summary
You will consider social sciences in their widest possible context and the role of professionals
within the current UK social context. Students completing the Access to HE Social Sciences will study the following 4 modules:
- Psychology
- Criminology
- Sociology
- Academic Studies
Throughout this course students will develop skills which will help to develop critical thinking,
academic writing and analysis in readiness for HE study. There is a nursery at St Vincent College for babies and young children up to four years old, run by YMCA Fairthorne Manor. This is free for those on benefits.
