Crime and Society

Course Summary

Crime and Society is made up of 2 separate courses, firstly an Ascentis Certificate in Social Science and Humanities, and secondly a BTEC in Law and Legal Studies. There will be a distinct focus on Sociology and Psychology within the Social Sciences course and there will be an element of Criminology throughout both courses.

Both courses are assessed internally.

Evidence for each unit is through building up a portfolio of evidence to demonstrate that all the assessment criteria within the unit have been achieved.
