Learners will take a number of sector units.
The content of the sector units offers a broad introduction to the skills and knowledge within the media and IT sectors, allowing the delivery to be practical and active in order to engage learners. For digital media, the units cover activities such as designing for a digital product, creating storyboards, shooting moving image and recording audio.
LEVEL 1 – CERTIFICATE
The course looks at a variety of media aspects whilst also including IT elements that develop the learners’ skills further.
All learners will study core units
that focus on key transferable skills such as being organised, where we will discover how to use different organisational techniques and creating a personal development plan, allowing you to look at the many pathways this qualification could lead to.
