FIRST AID: Parent and Child
WHAT DOES THIS COURSE COVER?
This course is designed to cover knowledge and understanding in paediatric first aid. It covers topics including: roles & responsibilities of a paediatric first aid, assessing a situation, basic Life Support, shock, fractures, bleeding and a range of other conditions.
WHO IS THIS COURSE SUITABLE FOR?
Do you want to learn First aid for children and infants? Would you like to know how to deal with an emergency situation?
Topics covered may include:
- Breathing Difficulties
- Choking
- Cuts
- Burns
Paediatric First Aid is essential for anyone who works or lives with children; you never know when an emergency may happen and when you will need to use first aid skills to remedy a potentially life-threatening situation.

Upon completion of this course, you may like to explore the various other courses that we have to offer at St Vincent College or progress onto the Accredited Level 3 First Aid Qualification.
