IN RECENT YEARS ST VINCENT HAS BEEN AT THE FOREFRONT OF HEALTH AND SOCIAL CARE EDUCATION FOR SCHOOL LEAVERS.

This is a one year course that will help you to gain the knowledge, understanding and competency needed when considering employment in the Health, Social and Care sectors. You will have the opportunity to apply theory to practice during work placement. You will be expected to produce a portfolio of evidence which reflects your knowledge and understanding of the units studied.

Entry requirements:

Five GCSEs at Grade 2 or above. If you have not yet gained Grade 4 in English and/or Maths, this will form part of your programme.

What students will learn:

Principles of working in Health and Social Care, Health and Safety in Practice, working in a person-centred way, safeguarding.

Progression routes:

T Level BTEC Level 3 Health and Social Care (single). T Level Health: Adult Nursing
