Information, Advice & Guidance

THIS QUALIFICATION AIMS TO DEVELOP THE LEARNER’S KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING OF THE KEY PRINCIPLES OF INFORMATION, ADVICE OR GUIDANCE AND APPLYING THESE WITHIN THEIR OWN CONTEXT.

The objectives of this qualification are to prepare learners for further training and to support a role where learners may give initial information, advice or guidance to others.

WHO IS THIS COURSE SUITABLE FOR?

This qualification is suitable for those working or looking to work in a range of roles where the provision of information, advice or guidance is a requirement.
It’s important to note that a number of units in this qualification require learners to consider information, advice or guidance provision in the context of their own organisation. If learners are not working (in an employed or voluntary capacity) in this context then it may be difficult to evidence some of the assessment criteria.
