Home > Children’s Health & Wellbeing – An Introduction

WHAT DOES THIS COURSE COVER?

Would you like to have the skills to encourage your child to express their feelings through a variety of multi-sensory activities? Maybe you work in a childcare setting and would like to further understand how health and wellbeing can support a child’s learning and development.

During this course, you will learn how to influence the well-being and resilience of children. You will explore the factors that promote children’s wellbeing. You will also look at theories of development (Maslow), as well as self-image and how people see themselves. We will be looking at resources to be used, including stories and activities to support social and emotional development.
