WHAT DOES THIS COURSE COVER?

Do you work in a care setting, with children or young people, or look after a family member with communication needs?

This course is for those, supporting individuals who communicate to us in various ways or may struggle to communicate for a variety of reasons. We will provide you with information to enhance your knowledge and understanding as to why individuals communicate needs the way they do. Identifying the importance of communication, including, verbal, non-verbal, visual, or written. We will also equip you with skills to implement this in different settings and ways to overcome barriers to meet individual needs and preferences in communication.
