Home > Early Years – Learning through Playing – An Introduction

WHAT DOES THIS COURSE COVER?

This course will help you to understand the importance of children learning through play. Do you want to know what the benefits are: how play can foster effective communication, how it can help develop social, cognitive, critical thinking, and motor skills, whilst creating confidence in children? All children play to practice skills, try out possibilities, revise theories and discover new challenges, leading to deeper learning.

Play allows children to communicate ideas, and to understand others through social interaction, paving the way to build deeper understanding and more powerful relationships.

Join this course to find out why play is so significant. Learning through play – see the world through the eyes of a child and learn to understand children’s holistic development and wellbeing.
