A Makaton Certificate is provided on completion of the course.
WHAT DOES THIS COURSE COVER?
If you have completed the level 1 Makaton and want to progress, this course is for you. Makaton is a language programme that encompasses a mixture of signs, symbols, and speech to aid communication from birth. Makaton can support children and adult development in settings, including; Early years provisions, schools, shops, and the wider community. Are you interested in alternative forms of communication? If so, this is the course for you.
If you have completed the introduction to Makaton session or the Level 1 Makaton and want to progress, this could be the perfect way of continuing your learning using other forms of communication. Level 2 continues the Makaton journey where you will extend your knowledge, skills, and underpinning foundations of this communication tool; covering stages 3 and 4, plus additional vocabulary.
COURSE TIMINGS
This course will run for 2 weeks, each session is 3 hours.

The Makaton delivery is funded, please enquire for further details on funding eligibility. The participant manual will be an additional charge for the course.
