Course Summary
Level 1 will provide learners with a range of plastering skills and knowledge. Learners will develop an understanding of the health and safety requirements for working in the construction industry.
The Award, extended Certificate and full diploma all focus on plastering but learners broaden their construction skills and knowledge in an inclusive way that meets their needs and learning abilities.
Key Topics
The course is in unit form and you will be expected to complete all units for the full qualification. Learners will be taught and challenged in a bespoke plastering workshop designed to mimic a domestic plastering environment, enabling us to develop skills and confidence necessary to obtain a Plastering job role in the construction industry.

Assessment
The course is 70% practical – Assessed in workshop as and when learners are competent to take them, and 30% theory with 2 online exams & assessed workbooks.

There are no formal qualifications needed for a Level 1 study programme, just a willingness to learn and enthusiasm to develop your aspirations.
