The Level 2 Public Services qualifications are specifically targeted at level 2 learners who require stretch and challenge and they support progression to further education and study at a higher level or to further training. Learners will develop sector specific knowledge, understanding and skills together with underpinning transferable skills that support progression to a range of level 3 qualifications and are suitable for learners aspiring to work in the public and protective services sector.
Entry requirements:
Minimum of five GCSEs at grades 2 and above.
What students will learn:
Career planning for the public services, research project in the UPS Global Affairs and Media Principles of Managing Security Threats, planning for and responding to emergency incidents, physical preparation and health and well being
