HEALTH AND SOCIAL CARE SECTOR

LEVEL 2 CERTIFICATE

Course Description:

This is a one year course that will help you to gain knowledge, understanding and competency needed when considering employment in the Health, Social and Care sectors. You will have the opportunity to apply theory to practice during work placement. You will be expected to produce a portfolio of evidence which reflects your knowledge and understanding of the units studied.

HEALTH AND SOCIAL CARE BTEC

LEVEL 3 EXTENDED CERTIFICATE

Course Description:

The BTEC Level 3 Certificate forms part of our Pathway to Nursing, Midwifery and Healthcare programme for those who are ambitious to work within the Health, Social Care or teaching sectors. This is a single BTEC qualification, equivalent to one full A Level and you are expected to choose 2 other courses to create your full-time programme.

The Extended Diploma programme is ideal for candidates that prefer a coursework-based programme. Exams form a minor part of this course. This is a triple BTEC qualification and will be your full programme at college.
