Who is this course for?

Child Psychology is one of the most frequently studied speciality areas as it focuses on the mind and behaviour of children from prenatal through to adolescence. Child Psychology not only looks at how children grow physically, but with their mental, emotional and social development as well.

In recent years, the UK has seen an increase of mental health illnesses diagnosed in pre-school children, and school settings have seen a rise in attachment disorders amongst their pupils.

This 5 week online course will focus on:

· Childhood mental health disorders
· The importance of early relationships
· Attachment, including what happens when attachments aren’t formed

Your tutor will be available for online support and tasks via your email on Mondays 12:30-2:30pm. Weekly tasks will be emailed directly to you, with links to videos, tutor films and other online resources for you to study.
