At St Vincent College we have moved quickly to provide our students with the highest quality education during periods where restrictions require learning to take place from home. We have implemented a Digital Learning Policy here which provides details of the expectations of staff in relation to the delivery of remote learning to our students. It is expected that all students actively engage in their full college timetable when working remotely with teachers providing online tuition, teaching and support. Where appropriate, classes will be assisted by support staff to enable students to have wider access to advice and support. A small number of students with complex needs will have alternative arrangements in place to support them instead of online learning.

In order for students to access remote learning, the college is able to provide digital devices where there is a need within the student’s household. Devices such as laptops can be loaned to students and provision for internet access can be considered on a temporary basis where required. If any students requires access to such devices or support they, or a member of their household, need to contact our IT team by email at

Vulnerable and high needs students who require on-site support to access their remote learning can do so by contacting

Welfare and progression support is also available remotely and if any student requires support they can email their teacher/tutor or email
