STUDENT BURSARY
We’re committed to making college education accessible for all students and we understand that covering essential course-related costs can be challenging.
We offer financial help to eligible students at St Vincent College; below are ways we can help.

WHAT KIND OF FINANCIAL SUPPORT DO YOU OFFER STUDENTS?
Eligible students may apply for a bursary to help towards the costs of:
BUS PASS
Travel to college by bus with bus passes available through college bursary funds.
FERRY TICKETS
For students who use the ferry to travel to and from college we offer support through free weekly ferry tickets.
SUBJECT RELATED RESOURCES
We can help towards materials and equipment you need for your course.
FOOD
We can subsidise daily food and refreshments from our refectory.
WORK PLACEMENT TRAVEL
We understand the importance of work placements and can provide assistance with travel costs.
CHILDCARE SUPPORT
If your total household income is less than £32,000 annually you may be eligible for childcare support.
WHO QUALIFIES FOR STUDENT FINANCIAL SUPPORT?
If your family’s income is less than £32,000 income annually you may qualify for our student bursary. You may apply if you receive any of the following benefits:
- universal credit
- jobseeker’s allowance
- pension credit
- income-related employment and support allowance
- support under part VI of the Immigration and Asylum Act 1999
You will be required to upload documentation of the above as evidence to support your application.
HOW CAN I APPLY FOR STUDENT FUNDING?
Applying for support is quick and easy using our PAY MY STUDENT website.
You will need your Student ID number to start. You should have received this via email, but contact the Admissions Team if you haven’t seen an email from us.
