Funding for Courses

STARTING THIS YEAR, THE GOVERNMENT IS INVESTING £2.5 BILLION IN THE NATIONAL SKILLS FUND.

The National Skills Fund will help adults to train and gain the valuable skills they need to improve their job and career prospects. Designed to support the economic recovery and skillset of our adult community, by boosting the supply of skills that employers require.

St Vincent College are pleased to announce that we are offering the following courses under this new government initiative.

  • Adult Care Diploma
  • Carpentry
  • Early Years Educator (early years practitioner)
  • Training, Assessment & Quality Assurance (Assessor Qualification)

All adults aged 24 and over (19-24 who meet eligibility criteria) who want to achieve their first full level 3 qualification,  can now be fully funded to access the above qualifications. The qualifications have been carefully selected to help adults improve their career prospects. These courses will address skills gaps in the economy and upskill our adult community who may have not had the opportunity to study for free prior to the governments additional funding from the NSF.
