INCLUSIVE EDUCATION
In addition to our higher-level academic programmes, St Vincent Sixth Form College is also one of the south’s leading providers of post-16 education for students who require an adapted curriculum and support due to a range of special educational needs and disabilities. All students are offered meaningful and purposeful work experience throughout their educational journey.
Preparation for learning
The School of Personalised Learning provides over 140 students with access to a range of creative, exciting, purposeful, and functional courses from pre-entry to level 2.
A curriculum for learners post 19 is available to those who have already experienced a college education within another provision. This offer however is a maximum of two years and can include a supported internship if appropriate.
Based in the heart of our main campus each of the courses available are specifically tailored to the individual learning and support needs of our students who are taught by specialist teachers within highly supported learning environments with state-of-the-art resources and facilities. In addition to our curriculum offer, the College is able to provide medical assistance, support and care with a wide range of learning difficulties and disabilities. We work very closely with local schools and local authorities to ensure the learning and support needs of each student are appropriately met and can provide a range of services to support transition to our learning environment.
