Health: Supporting Adult Nursing

Technical Qualification in Health (Level 3) 603/7066/X – Nursing pathway

The Adult Nursing T-Level is an exciting way to enable students to gain relevant academic knowledge as well as undertake practical work placements.

The technical qualification will include core theory, concepts and skills for the industry and specialist skills for adult nursing as a career. The college has invested in brand new state of the art nursing facilities to provide professional standard training.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS:

5 GCSEs at grade 4 and above, including English and Maths.

WHAT STUDENTS WILL LEARN:

You will learn about the principles and applications of working in the health setting, including working with health and science, human health, safety and environmental regulations, good scientific and clinical practice and core science concepts.

The course also includes 315 hours in an industry placement and completing occupational specialisms, including supporting the Adult Nursing Team.

PROGRESSION ROUTES:

Skilled employment such as healthcare assistant, support worker, deputy manager in health and care sector or continue at university in adult nursing, healthcare science or occupational therapy.
